Burglars remanded

Dear Resident

On Monday evening our incident response colleagues were called to a report of intruders on site at a commercial premises in Whalley, they quickly raced to the scene and came across some smashed glass and a vehicle making off from the location, luckily the PC in attendance fancies going on traffic and seized his moment to shine and began a pursuit of the vehicle through Whalley into Billington and towards Langho where the offenders abandoned it to try and make good their escape on foot. Thankfully the moon and stars aligned for us and a dog patrol, helicopter and other traffic units where also able to attend with our 2 offenders soon located and detained. The vehicle was found to be an outstanding stolen and had numerous items within from the attacked premises. The 2 young men are currently enjoying full board and lodgings courtesy of his majesty without passing go and collecting £200!

Our burglars arrested yesterday for the vehicle thefts remain in custody under investigation as it's a complex case with a large volume of enquiries.
